KAPA T4 DNA Ligase
KAPA T4 DNA Ligase catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between 5’ phosphate and 3’ hydroxyl termini in duplex DNA or RNA. This enzyme will join blunt and cohesive end termini as well as repair single stranded nicks in duplex DNA, RNA or DNA/RNA hybrids.
KAPA T4 DNA Ligase is ideally suited for:
- routine subcloning
- recircularization of linear DNA
- library construction
- linker ligation
KAPA Rapid Ligation System
The KAPA Rapid Ligation System is a combination of KAPA Rapid T4 DNA Ligase and an optimized reaction buffer designed to ligate blunt or cohesive end DNA fragments in 5 minutes at room temperature.
KAPA DNA Ladders
The KAPA Express Ladder and KAPA Universal Ladder Kits are designed for determining the approximate size and quantity of double-stranded DNA on agarose gel.
KAPA Express Ladder kits contain seven DNA fragments (in base pairs): 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 4000 and 8000. The KAPA Express Ladder contains one reference band (1600) for orientation.
KAPA Universal Ladder kits contain eighteen DNA fragments (in base pairs): 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1600, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000, and 10000. The KAPA Universal Ladder contains four reference bands (500, 1000, 1600, and 4000) for orientation.
All kits are formulated with DNA loading dye for direct loading on agarose gel.
